Learning to Locker Hook!

I worry when I learn a new craft that I will leave the old ones behind. Do you? I can't tell you how many things I love to create! Being I'm a complusive /obsessive crafter , every time I learn a new craft, I become possessed with gathering all the materials to begin the new adventure and then some. Is this a throw back to the gathering women have been responsible for through the ages??? Locker hooking has focused me more on the project because I actually have all the parts needed to start and finish! Yea!!! Well, to tell you the truth I didn't have the rug canvas so I bought new canvas on a road trip with my Curves/ Farmgirl friends. But then I roamed local thrift stores for more canvas...the kind that comes in the latch hooking kits that no one finishes. I found the canvas mother lode in a huge bag along with the latch hooking yarn. But I pulled out the printed canvas and donated the yarn immediately to anoth...

Ok - That's Enough Snow Now and a Giveaway!!!

The day after the snow storm...so beautiful out! After another 9 inches of snow, we're giving up - yup - here in MN we try to just grin and bear it. Its pretty and all that but we're ready to bring on the mud and spring and gardening!!! Well, the forecast says - more. More is coming so buck up! Okay then - it beats packing up all my craft and sewing stuff and going south for a couple months. I really like staying in and looking out the window when its snowglobe time out there but its difficult for Hubby to keep the driveway open so for him I'm wishing this next round might be the last of it. Knitting on a Snowy Day in MN!

First I have to correct my friend's blog address... Amanda's Baskets . I've had it wrong forever...now its correct so you can click on it and actually get to her site! It takes me a while sometimes to figure out some things! Yay! I received my new camera and have read the manual so I can post pictures of some of my recent projects. Making simple projects out of yarn keeps me busy all winter and other times too. I'm a compulsive crocheter, knitter person. It seems that I can't just sit...so I pick up my needles or hook and make some item that when finished joins their relatives in a big tote. Sometimes I invite my girl family members to pick out what they want and sometimes at our Farmgirls Country Sale in the fall I put them out for sale. The tote is never empty...it runneth over.
